SVP, Business Development

Kevin graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1981, Kevin applied for membership at the CBOT and started trading as a local in the grain room. In 1986, Kevin was hired at and worked at Lind Waldock until it was bought out by Refco, Inc. 15 years later. In 1991 was made a managing partner at Lind Waldock and was in charge of the Chicago trading floors. During that time, Lind Waldock was one of the first firms to start printing orders via their own in-house order routing system directly to the floor. Under his direction, Lind Waldock was also the first house to go live with sending orders directly from an order desk to a broker’s station live in the pit. Kevin diligently served on the ME reconfiguration committees of the S&P and Eurodollar pits. With the advent of electronic trading, Kevin subsequently felt like it was time to leave the floor and do what he enjoyed even more than trading: giving people the advice of a professional that had been in the business for 29 years. That advice can be given to a new customer who is figuring out how to get involved in trading for the first time or to that professional trader looking for that extra edge in the marketplace. Kevin's vast knowledge of the industry is an invaluable tool to Sweet Futures customers.
